The Ventura County Civic Center is located in a historic section of the City. This area was first developed by Spanish who built churches along the California coast establishing the “mission style” of architecture. Court Place blends in with the architecture of the area with accents from the institutional buildings located in the Civic Center. Court Place was awarded a PCBC Gold Nugget award for excellence in design, as the main office for the California Department of Justice in Ventura.
