Lotte World was envisioned as a destination to explore the interaction of natural elements with people and educating the public in the process. The elements of Fire, Water, Air and Earth were used as an inspiration create attractions such as indoor ski slopes, beaches, weather patterns and fire columns within specific areas of the park. Activities within the park followed a pattern that would inspire people to better understand the natural world and encourage contemplation on our place in the universe.
