Wireless data transmission devices have already changed the way we interact with our environment. This will lead to new opportunities for product manufacturers and retailers. We are exploring these possibilities, developing the shopping experiences of the future, where products will be purchased and shipped directly to customers’ homes. Kiosks will provide information on travel, services, consumer goods and entertainment options. “Cloud computing” in open office environments will be commonplace. Personal computers will be replaced by touch screen digital holographic projections which will interact directly with consumers and PDA’s will become “jewelry” for a personal fashion statement. We are working on these ideas and suggesting options for applications of new technologies.
