This competition was sponsored by the National Investment Corporation of Abu Dhabi. The existing barren waterfront property needed a story line to establish the architectural character of the project. We suggested the idea that this area was an existing garden with exotic plants and water features. The developers took this into consideration in planning this ambitious project and enhanced the garden environment surrounding it with commercial and entertainment features to create a truly exciting destination.
