Barquisimeto is the second largest city in Venezuela. A large arena is used as a major event center. The area is being redeveloped with a new shopping center and we were asked to design a water park next to the main plaza that would become a local attraction. An existing historic amphitheater will be upgraded and included in the new water park for concerts to revitalize the whole development.
