Tuntex Corporation purchased a prime parcel in San Francisco with the intent of developing a unique entertainment and retail destination. The site required soil remediation to eliminate heavy metal contamination from discharge of toxic chemicals from old railroad equipment. Our solution was to develop a “Land Lab” facility in collaboration with the University of California to showcase this research. “Space Port” highlighted aerospace technology exhibits and “Sea Base” was planned to educate/entertain people with exciting oceanographic exhibits.
